Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Aviation Ground School Instructor to join our team and inspire the next generation of pilots. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging classroom instruction, develop curriculum, and share your passion for aviation with aspiring students. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a deep understanding of aviation principles, including Federal Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance.

Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive ground school instruction covering topics such as aerodynamics, aircraft systems, Federal Aviation Regulations, and navigation.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure alignment with current industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage students through effective teaching methods, public speaking, and interactive learning activities.
  • Assess student progress through examinations, practical exercises, and feedback sessions.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, discussion, and active participation.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to enhance training programs and student success initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance in compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience

  • Proven classroom teaching experience in aviation or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, airframe maintenance, and aviation safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) applicable to pilot training programs.
  • Experience in curriculum development tailored for diverse learning styles and multilingual audiences preferred.
  • Background working with students at various skill levels, including military personnel or those pursuing civilian aviation careers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions and motivate learners effectively.
