Aviation Line Service Technician (LTS) – Aircraft Servicing

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Line Service Technician (LTS) to support aircraft ground servicing operations. This role is focused on aircraft servicing functions including lavatory service, potable water service, GPU connections, aircraft towing, and tug operation. Candidates must have hands-on experience performing these services in an FBO or aircraft ground support environment.

This position requires strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment supporting corporate and commercial aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft lavatory servicing and potable water servicing using designated service trucks and equipment.
  • Connect and disconnect Ground Power Units (GPU/KVA) in accordance with aircraft servicing procedures.
  • Operate tugs and tow equipment to reposition and tow aircraft safely on the ramp.
  • Marshal and park aircraft in accordance with ramp safety procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of ground support equipment (GSE) including tugs, GPUs, lavatory and water service equipment.
  • Perform aircraft fueling and defueling operations as required.
  • Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations, airport authority guidelines, and company safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate with operations teams regarding aircraft servicing requirements.
  • Provide professional service and support to flight crews and FBO customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience performing aircraft lavatory service and potable water service.
  • Experience connecting and disconnecting GPU/KVA ground power units.
  • Experience towing aircraft and operating aircraft tugs.
  • Previous experience working for an FBO or aircraft ground servicing operation.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft ground safety procedures and ramp operations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience servicing corporate, private, or commercial aircraft.
  • Experience operating lavatory trucks, water service trucks, and ground power units.
  • Familiarity with general aviation and business aviation aircraft.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
