Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Engine Mechanic to join our operations team. This role is responsible for performing engine disassembly, sub-assembly, final assembly, troubleshooting, inspections, and repair activities in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM technical data, and company quality standards.

This position plays a crucial role in minimizing aircraft downtime, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft engine disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly in accordance with OEM-approved technical data
  • Execute mechanical work on aircraft engines and components following approved procedures and quality standards
  • Conduct troubleshooting, fault isolation, borescope inspections, module removals, and component changes
  • Support field repairs, preservation, and customer service requests, including AOG support as needed
  • Ensure proper identification, handling, and installation of materials and components

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Read, interpret, and apply OEM manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and technical instructions
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and escalate technical discrepancies, non-conformities, or safety concerns promptly

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with standards
  • Collaborate with inspectors, engineering teams, and production leadership to resolve technical issues
  • Communicate job progress, delays, and findings effectively to supervisors and support teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, tooling, and workflow efficiency

  • Must-have:

    • Experience in aircraft engine maintenance in MRO

  • Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License prefered
    • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft engine maintenance in MRO
    • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance practices, and compliance requirements
    • Proven experience with aircraft engine troubleshooting and advanced fault isolation
    • Ability to interpret manuals, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
    • Experience with maintenance tracking systems and documentation processes
