Aviation Parts Cleaner and Shipping Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily shipping and receiving activities, as well as assisting technicians cleaning and breaking down aviation components. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We will provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Preform shipping and receiving duties as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks on aviation parts, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Assist with cleaning tasks on aviation parts and shipping as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition; report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Support facilities maintenance efforts by performing minor repairs or reporting issues to management.

Qualifications

• As a FAA Part 145 Repair Station, all employees must be able to understand, read, and write in English to follow Component Maintenance Manuals.
• Must pass a DOT drug test and participate in the drug and alcohol testing program required for all safety-sensitive employees.
• Use basic hand tools and measuring devices. Use of electrical multimeters.
• Follow instructions and training on shop equipment.
• Take proper safety measures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to repairing aviation parts will be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
