About The Opportunity

Operating in the Commercial & Business Aviation sector, this role focuses on aircraft sales, leasing advisory and aftermarket commercial solutions for airlines, charter operators, corporate flight departments and private owners across India. This is an on-site sales position based in India, focused on direct client engagement, transaction management and market development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive full sales cycle for aircraft and aviation services: prospect, qualify, present commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close transactions for commercial, business-aviation and turboprop/helicopter markets.
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline and key accounts; source cross-sell opportunities for leasing, financing, aftermarket and MRO partners.
  • Prepare aircraft valuations, market comparables and tailored commercial proposals to support pricing and bid strategy.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate legal, finance and regulatory stakeholders to finalize contracts and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct on-site client meetings, aircraft inspections, demonstrations and delivery logistics with technical teams and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and performance reporting; meet agreed revenue and conversion targets.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven track record in aircraft or aviation product sales to airlines, charter operators, corporates or private owners.
  • Expertise in aircraft valuation, market comparables and pricing strategy for pre-owned and new aircraft.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel for commercial modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial contract negotiation and deal structuring.
  • Familiarity with the Indian aviation market and regulatory processes (DGCA interactions, exports/imports for aircraft transactions).
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel across India for inspections, deliveries and client engagements.

Preferred

  • Experience selling business jets, regional turboprops or helicopters.
  • Exposure to aircraft financing, leasing or asset management transactions.
  • Existing relationships with OEMs, dealers, brokers or MRO providers in India/EMEA markets.
