Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5+ years of experience in this area
  • Very good command of fluent English
  • Technical understanding of engineering applications and TCI IFC Solution
  • Task management skills and working discipline
  • Communication and organization skills
  • Taking initiative and responsibility in her/his area
  • Proven experience in avionics systems engineering, with a focus on inflight connectivity
  • Strong understanding of aircraft communication systems and protocols
  • Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with FAA and EASA standards and regulations, including:
  • RTCA DO-178C: Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
  • RTCA DO-254: Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware
  • 14 CFR Part 25: Airworthiness Standards for Transport Category Airplanes
  • EASA CS-25: Certification Specifications for Large Aeroplanes
  • Experience with satellite communication systems
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices
  • Proficiency in relevant software and simulation tools
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Proficiency in using avionics test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment
  • Experience with Aircraft Data Network (ADN) and Ethernet-based avionics networks
  • Knowledge of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architectures
  • Understanding of Aircraft Interface Devices (AIDs) and data buses like ARINC 429 and ARINC 664
  • Knowledge of maintenance and diagnostic procedures for avionics systems
  • Understanding of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements in aviation.


Job Description


  • Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems for inflight connectivity solutions.
  • Develop system architectures and detailed design specifications for IFC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant FAA and EASA standards and regulations.
  • Lead the certification process for IFC systems, ensuring all designs meet the necessary airworthiness standards.
  • Prepare and review certification documentation, including plans, compliance reports, and test plans.
  • Coordinate with certification authorities (FAA, EASA) to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for IFC systems.
  • Conduct and support certification testing, including lab and flight tests, to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate IFC systems with existing aircraft avionics and communication systems.
  • Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure seamless operation and reliability of IFC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with other engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute test procedures and protocols for system integration and validation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all system designs, integration processes, and certification activities.
  • Provide training and support to maintenance personnel and other stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of IFC systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in avionics and connectivity technologies.
