Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Lawyer located in Istanbul. The Lawyer will be responsible for advising clients on legal matters, researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court. The role also involves negotiating settlements, ensuring compliance with laws, and collaborating with colleagues on complex cases.


Qualifications


  • Strong command of commercial and corporate law, dispute resolution, and contract review processes
  • A minimum of two years of experience following completion of the legal internship
  • Skills in company law, real estate law, employment law, and commercial litigation
  • Experience in intellectual property, media & entertainment law, information technologies, and data protection law is an asset
  • Excellent communication, research, and drafting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Fluency in Turkish and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Admitted to the bar in Istanbul


Responsibilities


  • Provide legal advice and support on commercial, corporate, and contractual matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and corporate documentation
  • Conduct legal research and prepare correspondence, opinions, and reports
  • Represent clients in dispute resolution processes, including litigation and alternative dispute mechanisms
  • Assist with company law procedures, corporate governance matters, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage tasks related to real estate, employment, and commercial litigation files as needed
  • Support matters involving intellectual property, media & entertainment, IT, and data protection law when required
  • Liaise with clients, external counsel, and relevant authorities to ensure timely progress of legal matters
  • Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on clients and ongoing matters
