Duties

• Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift, responding promptly to any needs or emergencies
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, mobility assistance, and medication administration as prescribed
• Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through behavior management techniques and compassionate engagement
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks aligned with individual dietary plans, ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control protocols
• Document incidents, resident observations, and care activities thoroughly to ensure continuity of care

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or personal care homes is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and memory care practices
• Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and long-term care procedures
• Hands-on caregiving experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require senior care support
• Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism in group home or home & community care settings
• Valid driver’s license for transportation duties if required for resident outings or appointments
