AWS DevOps engineer

AWS DevOps Engineer Utrecht | €85.000 | MedTech company transitioning from legacy environment | Scale up | Replatforming towards AWS, K8s, Multi-tentant Saas.

Do you want to work for a company that builds a SaaS product for cardiologists, to save millions of lives? Do you enjoy very impactful work, helping development teams speed up, lifting and shifting towards AWS, configuring the AWS environment and eventually set-up the k8s clusters?

My client is a MedTech company focused on building software that's used in hospitals to do pre-operative procedures. The company has entered an interesting phase where they are migrating away from the on-premise environment to AWS. This means you will migrate the legacy product towards AWS and build a cloud-native AWS platform from scratch (fully greenfield).

You will be working alongside another DevOps Engineer, Multiple QA's, Software developers and an architect. The organisation is in a scale-up phase, which means that there is a lot of room for new initiatives that you can drive.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of working experience as Software, AWS Cloud/DevOps Engineer;
• 3+ years of AWS knowledge (VPS, EC2, S3, EKS);
• 2+ years working with Terraform;
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tooling (Github/Gitlab);
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with .NET/C# environments is a plus;
• Experience with Medical and highly regulated environments is a plus;

Benefits:

• Compensation up to €85 annually based on 40h, Hybrid working model (50/50), 27 days off and a good pension scheme. Start: 12 month contract, after permanent.
