As Emumba’s AWS GenAI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building AI-driven solutions on AWS. You’ll design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs), and integrate them into scalable systems. This role requires technical depth, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across functions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience, focusing on AI or ML application
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and AWS GenAI services (Amazon Q, S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, OpenSearch Service, DocumentDB, Bedrock)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs and building conversational AI applications
- Familiarity with microservices/serverless architectures
- Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
What You’ll Do
RAG Application Development
- Use Langchain and Amazon Bedrock to develop RAG applications for Q&A tasks
- Implement retrieval-based methods to gather relevant data and generation-based methods to craft responses
LLM Fine-Tuning
- Fine-tune large language models using Amazon Bedrock and state-of-the-art frameworks
- Leverage OpenAI, Langchain, and AWS AI/ML services to optimize LLM performance
- Build Q&A agents tailored to business-specific problems
AWS Integration
- Develop and deploy AI solutions on AWS leveraging services like Q, S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, OpenSearch Service, DocumentDB, and Bedrock
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with software engineers and DevOps teams to integrate AI solutions
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise
