AWS Network Engineer

Job Title Senior AWS Platform Engineer Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on AWS. This role focuses on Kubernetes-based platforms, infrastructure as code, cloud networking, and shared platform services that enable application and AI teams to ship faster and more reliably. You will work closely with application, AI, and security teams to provide a robust platform foundation, while driving best practices around automation, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKS
• Implement and manage event-driven autoscaling using KEDA
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and manage Helm charts for platform and application deployments
• Design and operate AWS networking components , including VPCs, load balancers, routing, and security groups
• Manage EC2-based workloads and integrations alongside Kubernetes platforms
• Implement and operate secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent)
• Design and support caching layers using Redis-class technologies
• Partner with security, SRE, and application teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
• Experience using Python to build automation, platform tooling, or operational workflows
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues across environments
• Contribute to platform standards, documentation, and operational runbooks

MUST HAVE Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes on AWS (EKS) in production environments
• Proven experience implementing autoscaling solutions , including KEDA
• Solid expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
• Experience building and maintaining Helm charts
• Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure , including: VPC design and networking Load balancers (ALB/NLB) EC2 instance management
• Hands-on experience with secrets management using HashiCorp Vault or similar tools
• Experience designing and operating distributed caching systems (Redis or Redis-compatible technologies)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, networking, and Kubernetes layers
• Experience working in a DevOps / Platform / SRE-oriented environment

STRONG PLUS Qualifications

• Experience with OpenShift (self-managed or managed offerings)
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing BlueCat DNS
• Experience with Dragonfly or other high-performance Redis-compatible caching solutions
