Key Responsibilities1. Technical Presales Support
- Engage with customers to understand their business needs, technical challenges, and cloud adoption goals.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and AWS capability overviews.
- Assist the sales team in qualifying opportunities from a technical perspective.
2. Solution Designing
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS cloud architectures.
- Prepare high-level and low-level solution documents, architecture diagrams, and BoM (Bill of Materials).
- Recommend appropriate AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, etc.) as per customer needs.
3. Proposal & Documentation
- Prepare technical proposals, SOW (Scope of Work), migration plans, and project timelines.
- Support RFP/RFQ responses with detailed technical inputs.
4. Customer Engagement
- Conduct PoC (Proof of Concept) setups and demonstrations.
- Address customer queries, risks, and concerns during the presales cycle.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and design discussions.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with Project Delivery, DevOps, and Support teams for solution validation.
- Coordinate with AWS partner teams for advanced solutioning or incentive programs.
6. Continuous Learning & Certifications
- Stay updated with new AWS services, architecture best practices, and cloud market trends.
- Maintain or pursue AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator).
