We're Hiring: AWS/Snowflake Support Engineer (SME Role)
Remote | Full Time | 7AM EST to 3PM EST| Pay: $1000-1500/Monthly

About the Opportunity
This role is a blend of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support engineer. The primary responsibility is to clear project issues for students while working on multiple projects involving AWS, Snowflake, and dbt. The engineer will coordinate closely with students to resolve their cloud project challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Over 5 years of experience in AWS support, Snowflake administration, or related cloud and data engineering roles, with strong hands-on skills in AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch) and Snowflake performance tuning and data warehouse management.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for AWS and Snowflake environments, focusing on resolving project issues and managing multiple projects involving AWS, Snowflake, and dbt transformation workflows.
• Collaborate directly with students to understand and resolve their cloud project issues, ensuring effective and timely solutions while maintaining a strong customer/student-centric approach.
• Monitor, optimize, and automate data workflows using AWS services and Snowflake features, implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, logging, and cost efficiency in multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, shell scripting, and familiar with ETL/ELT tools such as AWS Glue, dbt, Airflow, or Talend for troubleshooting, automation, and supporting scalable data integration pipelines.
