Ayudante Plomero (handyman)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plumbing tasks.
• Perform welding and pipe threading to create secure, durable connections in plumbing systems.
• Assist with construction site activities such as carpentry, remodeling, assembly, and general maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and mechanical systems to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs.
• Utilize HVAC knowledge for basic system troubleshooting and maintenance when required.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Experience

• Proven experience working on construction sites with hands-on plumbing installation and repair.
• Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques, schematics reading, and mechanical knowledge.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and carpentry fundamentals.
• Prior handyman experience involving remodeling, maintenance tasks, or field service work is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to support project execution.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction environments.
