Azure Data Engineer (Only USC and GC) (Only W2 NO C2C)

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data & AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable data and intelligent AI solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. This role combines data engineering with conversational AI development, focusing on building data pipelines, AI agents, and cloud-based analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure data services, Databricks, and modern Python frameworks to deliver secure, high-performing, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.
• Implement and manage data lakes, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Azure AI services and Databricks.
• Build and manage AI agents for automation and advanced conversational experiences.
• Utilize tools such as VS Code, Azure AI Studio, and Databricks for development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate AI services into applications using Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Develop secure REST APIs, asynchronous workers, and SDK-based integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable AI and data solutions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI model performance for reliability and accuracy.
• Develop reusable components and pipelines for efficient and rapid deployment.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance, and security standards.

Experience / Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake).
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks for data engineering and AI workloads.
• Experience building conversational AI solutions using Azure AI technologies.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing systems.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Studio, VS Code, and modern development workflows.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline optimization.
• Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Azure certifications (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: $75.00 - $78.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
