Azure Data Integration Engineer

Position Summary
Battle Bank, N.A. is seeking an Azure Data Integration Engineer. This position plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high‑performance cloud‑native data integration solutions within the organization’s medallion data architecture. This position is responsible for data engineering including building and optimizing Azure Data Factory pipelines, developing and supporting Azure Function Apps, and implementing automated CI/CD workflows through Azure DevOps. The engineer will integrate diverse data sources while ensuring strict security and governance practices through Azure Key Vault and related Azure services.

This is a hybrid position. Candidates will be required to come into an office located in Islandia, NY with occasional work from home opportunities. Battle Bank does not offer relocation assistance at this time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

  • Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data related technologies
  • Write and maintain Azure Function Apps to support complex pipeline logic
  • Implement CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps for source control, testing, and deployment
  • Securely manage secrets and keys using Azure Key Vault
  • Integrate external data sources (e.g., APIs) and cloud databases such as Snowflake and Synapse Analytics
  • Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to enable effective data visualizations in upstream tools
  • Utilize appropriate tools to test, debug, and document REST APIs involved in the data flow
  • Maintain thorough documentation for data flows, APIs, and code repositories
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all components of the data architecture.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, candidates must have a minimum of 4 ADDITIONAL years related experience in a Microsoft Azure environment in financial services or other highly regulated industry.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a financial services or retail banking environment with all of the following:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Function Apps (C#)
  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Snowflake
  • Tableau
  • Postman and REST APIs
  • Experience with startup environments and a track record of successfully delivering projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
  • Snowflake SnowPro Certification

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
