Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Automation, and Migration Programs. The candidate will lead enterprise-scale Azure transformation initiatives, design scalable cloud architectures, drive automation strategies, and execute complex migration engagements from on-premises and multi-cloud environments to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge in Azure Infrastructure Services, DevOps practices, landing zone architecture, governance, automation, and enterprise migration methodologies.

Azure Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure solutions.
  
• Architect Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft CAF framework.
  
• Define high availability, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
  
• Design hybrid cloud and multi-region architectures.
  
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  

Cloud Migration & Transformation

• Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of cloud migration projects.
  
• Migrate workloads from VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, GCP, and physical environments to Azure.
  
• Perform application and infrastructure dependency analysis.
  
• Define migration waves, cut over plans, rollback plans, and DR validation processes.
  
• Drive repost, platform, and modernization strategies.
  

DevOps & Automation

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  
• Automate provisioning, deployment, patching, and operational workflows.
  
• Develop reusable automation frameworks using PowerShell, Python, and scripting tools.
  
• Enable and promote DevSecOps best practices.
  
  

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks.
  
• Design and manage VPN & ExpressRoute.
  
• Design and manage NSG, Azure Firewall, and Load Balancers.
  
• Design and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  
• Design and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  
• Design and manage Azure Backup & Site Recovery.
  
• Design and manage Storage and Compute services.
  
• Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
  
  

Governance & Security

• Implement Azure Policies, RBAC, Management Groups, and Governance standards.
  
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
  
• Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  
• Work closely with security teams for Zero Trust architecture implementation.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Work with enterprise customers, presales, project managers, and delivery teams.
  
• Conduct workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
  
• Prepare HLD, LLD, migration runbook, and operational documentation.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
