B2B Brand Manager

Objective:

Brand managers are responsible for ensuring that the brands, products, and services falling under their domain resonate with current and potential customers. Always known and labeled in organization as “brand custodians”, nothing happens to their brand / product without them being on the lead.


Job Description:

  • Supervision of Subordinates
  • Organize and supervise the activities of the shared Marketing Coordinator (product code creation, agency LPOs, KPI preparation…)
  • Budgets and Plans
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Sales & Marketing section budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified


  • Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures
  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.


  • Day- to-day Operations
  • Maintain the day-to-day operations of Marketing activity to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.


  • Specific Accountabilities
  • Translate brand strategy into plans, activities and actions.
  • Analyze market data to ensure that we have eyes-on the macros and trends that could affect the brand performance HORECA & Industries such as cloud kitchens, trendy flavors…
  • Analyze and report the brand’s KPIs on daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual basis to be able to highlight areas of strengths to capitalize on, and areas of improvements to act accordingly.
  • Coordinate the required research projects with SMS team to ensure questions and black boxes are answered in a clear and conclusive manner as well as identifying white spaces.
  • Coordinate the innovation & renovation pipeline with Central team & local operations
  • Manage the creative platforms for the brand, lead the 3rd party creative teams to ensure communication fronts are in line with the brand strategy (brochures, digital content, B2B platform…)
  • Manage agencies from A to Z to ensure successful chef events leading to improvement of portfolio awareness & product usage
  • Manage the brand’s financial KPIs to ensure the Food Service P&L objectives are always met.
  • Liaison internal departments (sales, finance, & supply chain) and lead any brand related cross functional project.
  • Conduct continuous market visits with Key Accounts / top chains in UAE & Gulf to monitor product, packaging & price satisfaction as well as identifying expansion opportunities


  • Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.


  • Reporting
  • Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards.


  • Health, Safety & Environment
  • Work safety, quality and effectively, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, Hygiene, Food Safety, and environmental policies, procedures and practices.


  • Related Assignments
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
