Position Overview
ClearSight LASIK & Lens, a national leader in advanced vision correction with locations in Oklahoma City and Plano, is seeking a B2B Field Sales Representative and Comanagement Liaison to expand our professional referral network and drive surgical growth.
With more than 30 years of clinical excellence and over 80,000 successful procedures, ClearSight delivers cutting-edge refractive surgery through a patient-centered model led by fellowship-trained ophthalmologists.
This role serves as the primary connector between ClearSight and the professional community, developing strategic partnerships with optometrists, healthcare providers, and corporate organizations while educating partners on refractive surgery solutions including LASIK, SMILE, EVO ICL, Cataracts and Custom Lens Replacement.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing medical sales professional who thrives in a field-based, relationship-driven environment and is motivated to grow a regional referral network through education, trust, and strategic account development.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Expand Referral Networks
Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with optometrists and eye care practices across the territory.
Establish ClearSight as the preferred surgical partner for refractive procedures and lens-based vision correction.
Drive referral growth for procedures including LASIK, SMILE, EVO ICL, Custom Lens Replacement (RLE), and cataract surgery.
Manage MD/OD Comanagement Partnerships
Educate optometrists and staff on MD/OD comanagement protocols, patient candidacy criteria, and post-operative care pathways.
Ensure seamless referral workflows and strong communication between ClearSight surgeons and referring providers.
Support partners with tools, training, and resources to successfully manage post-operative patient care.
Help referring offices understand insurance considerations, patient eligibility, and reimbursement pathways related to medically necessary procedures.
Corporate Partnership Development
Build relationships with local employers, corporate HR teams, professional organizations, and employee groups to establish ClearSight as their preferred vision correction provider.
Develop corporate vision programs, employee benefit partnerships, and group promotions for LASIK and other vision correction procedures.
Coordinate educational presentations, wellness initiatives, and informational sessions for employees to increase awareness of vision correction options.
Create mutually beneficial partnerships that provide exclusive promotional pricing, group discounts, or special offers for employees while generating new patient growth for ClearSight.
Clinical & Educational Leadership
Conduct in-office training sessions, lunch-and-learns, and educational events for optometric teams and corporate partners.
Communicate clinical benefits of ClearSight’s full portfolio of procedures and technologies.
Provide ongoing updates on surgical outcomes, technology advancements, and patient success stories.
Strategic Sales & Territory Development
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow ClearSight’s presence in the market.
Utilize structured sales methodologies (e.g., BANT, SPIN, MEDDPICC) to identify opportunities and advance partnerships.
Manage a pipeline of prospective practices and corporate partners while tracking performance metrics in the CRM.
Compliance & Ethical Sales Practices
Ensure all referral activities comply with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute regulations governing medical referrals.
Maintain professional integrity and compliance when conducting marketing, education, and partnership activities.
Reporting & Performance Management
Track daily activities including provider visits, corporate outreach, referral metrics, and partnership development initiatives.
Participate in weekly sales meetings and strategy sessions with executive leadership.
Meet or exceed quarterly referral growth and procedure volume targets
Increased referrals with revenue goals
Bonus based on new referrals and overall volume
100% compliance with Stark and other laws.
Territory & Travel
This is a field-based role covering two key markets:
- Oklahoma City, OK
- Dallas–Fort Worth / Plano, TX
The role requires regular travel, splitting time between both markets each month to ensure consistent territory development and partner engagement. The expected travel is two weeks in field in Oklahoma City and two weeks in field in Dallas, Fort Worth.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of field sales experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
Demonstrated success in B2B relationship development and territory growth.
Strong communication and presentation skills for clinical education and practice engagement.
Above-average understanding of medical insurance protocols and processes, including how patient insurance coverage, benefits verification, and reimbursement pathways work within healthcare practices.
Experience building partnerships with professional practices, businesses, or corporate organizations.
Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations related to referrals.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Experience in ophthalmology, optometry, refractive surgery, or medical aesthetics.
Direct experience with MD/OD comanagement workflows in an optometric or ophthalmology practice.
Training in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPIN, or BANT.
High-energy, relationship-driven personality aligned with a “hunter” sales role.
