We are looking for a driven, professional, and growth-minded B2B Sales & Client Account Specialist / Apprentice Graphic Designer to join our team in Long Island, New York.

Position summary
This hybrid role combines:
- B2B sales development
- Client account management
- Customer service and front-end project coordination
- Sign permitting and insurance-process support
- Accounts receivable and order processing support
- Apprentice-level graphic design training and development
You will help bring in business, support customers from inquiry to completion, keep jobs moving accurately, and learn how enterprise-level sign graphics and production workflows operate in a real-world sign company environment.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain B2B relationships with business clients, property managers, contractors, and local organizations
- Conduct outbound follow-up on leads, quotes, proposals, and existing customer opportunities
- Serve as a key point of contact for walk-in customers, phone calls, emails, and client follow-up
- Help prepare estimates, work orders, invoices, and order updates
- Support accounts receivable follow-up and customer account communication
- Coordinate project details between clients, management, design, production, and installation teams
- Manage or support sign permitting and insurance documentation for installation-related jobs
- Track permit packets, approvals, certificates of insurance, and related compliance paperwork
- Support vendor communication, outsourced items, delivery timelines, and scheduling
- Maintain organized records for jobs, billing, permits, customer notes, and project activity
- Learn graphic design workflow, proofing, revisions, file setup, and production-readiness standards
- Train under experienced leadership to grow into graphic design, sign design, and large-format production workflow
Apprentice graphic design pathway
This is not just an admin or sales support position. We are intentionally creating a path for the right person to become stronger in:
- Graphic layout and visual communication
- Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and related sign-design tools
- File preparation for print, fabrication, and installation
- Brand consistency and proofing
- Large-format graphics and sign-making workflow
- Enterprise-level design and production standards
We are looking for someone who is coachable, hungry to learn, and excited to be mentored and trained into the design side of the business while continuing to contribute on the client-facing side.
Required qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in sign permitting and insurance-process coordination for sign installation
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, customer account management, client service, office administration, or project coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple active jobs, deadlines, and customer priorities
- Professional presence and confidence when working with business clients
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take on challenges
- Desire to grow, advance, and build a long-term career with the team
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Experience with CoreBridge
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, or related design software
- Experience with CRM, POS, or job-tracking systems
- Experience working with Nassau County, Suffolk County, town, village, or landlord sign approvals
- Experience in the sign, print, graphics, branding, or visual communications industry
