Baby Room Lead Teacher

Infant Room Lead Teacher – Full Time at Children First Child Care Center

Do you have a passion for caring for infants and creating a warm, nurturing environment where babies can grow and thrive? We are looking for a dependable, loving, and motivated individual to join our team as the Lead Teacher in our baby room!

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing attentive and responsive care to infants
• Creating a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with families and coworkers
• Maintaining licensing and health/safety standards
• Supervising and guiding assistant teachers in the classroom
• Supporting infants’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Be prepared to meet the children and parents where they are at in this great adventure we call life

Qualifications:

• Experience working with infants or in early childhood education preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Must meet South Dakota childcare licensing requirements
