Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare tailored to the individual needs of each child, including infants, toddlers, and young children.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities that promote development, creativity, and social skills.
• Ensure the safety of children by supervising their playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities.
• Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, dietary restrictions, medication schedules, and special needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up toys, changing diapers, or assisting with light housekeeping related to childcare.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, milestones, or any concerns that arise during your shift.
• Be prepared to administer basic first aid if necessary and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or caregiving roles involving children.
• Knowledge of child development stages for infants, toddlers, and young children.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset.
• Strong understanding of childcare best practices including toddler care and infant care techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and guardians.
