Babyroom Room Lead Teacher

Job Summary

Duties

• Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning through play.
• Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to growth and learning.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs.
• Support children’s social-emotional welfare by implementing behavior management techniques rooted in understanding childhood development principles.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education best practices, including preschool experience, special education strategies, and classroom management techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting, preferably with toddlers or infants.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood learners.
• Experience managing classroom environments.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
