Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development for children of all ages, including infants and toddlers.
• Provide safe and attentive supervision during playtime, naps, meals, and outdoor activities.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary, ensuring children’s health and safety at all times.
• Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards for childcare settings like daycare or babysitting environments.
• Assist with special needs or children with disabilities by implementing tailored care plans and providing compassionate support.

Experience

• Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or working in daycare settings is highly valued.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific care techniques for infants, toddlers, and young children.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training can be provided if necessary.
• Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus.
