Babysitter (Must own car)

Job Title: After-School Babysitter (Experienced with Special Needs)
Location: River Forest, IL
Schedule: Weekdays, 3 days a week (afternoons)

We are a family in River Forest, IL, seeking a reliable and experienced babysitter to care for our 9-year-old son, who has ADHD. He is a bright, funny, and energetic child who thrives with structure and patience.

Responsibilities include:

• Picking him up from school (less than 5 minutes from home)
• Driving him safely home
• Providing attentive and supportive care for a few hours until parents return from work
• Engaging him in calm, structured activities suited to his needs

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children with ADHD or other special needs
• Patience, consistency, and a sense of humor are a must!
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and positive references

This is a part-time position, 3 afternoons per week during the school year. Start date and specific days are flexible and can be discussed during the interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 15 per week
