Babysitter/Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for children 3years of age and 9years of age. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about fostering positive developmental experiences. You will be responsible for supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and supporting their emotional and physical well-being. Duties

• Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development
• Assist with diapering, potty training, and age-appropriate hygiene routines
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys, changing bedding, and tidying play areas
• Support children with preschool or toddler care routines, including nap times and bedtime routines
• Provide compassionate care for children with special needs or disabilities when required
• Administer basic first aid in case of minor injuries and communicate effectively with parents about any concerns or incidents

Skills

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and handle emergency situations calmly
• Skilled in meal preparation and cooking nutritious foods for children
• Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for the children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and guardians
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to foster a nurturing atmosphere
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility as needed for daily routines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $150.00 per week
