Babysitter/Nanny

Job Summary
Aloha! We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcar—ages 2-5. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a clean and organized space.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and learn.
• Maintain cleanliness in the play areas and prepare healthy meals or snacks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Implement first aid procedures when necessary to ensure the well-being of the children.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage trust and emotional security.

Requirements

• Proven experience in babysitting or nannying, particularly with preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of child development principles and the ability to educate through play.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean environment and manage daily schedules effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
• A genuine passion for childcare, patience, and a nurturing demeanor are essential qualities for this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
