Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, creativity, and physical development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, ensuring proper meal times and hygiene.
• Maintain a safe environment by monitoring children closely, implementing safety protocols, and managing any minor accidents with first aid when necessary.
• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, nap times, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers.
• Support children’s educational development through reading, teaching basic skills, and encouraging social interactions.
• Perform light cleaning duties related to childcare, including tidying up toys, changing bedding, and maintaining a tidy play area.
• Collaborate with parents to understand individual needs, routines, and preferences to provide consistent care.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
• Strong skills in meal preparation tailored for children’s nutritional requirements.
• Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as caregiving, cleaning, and teaching with energy and patience.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with parents and children alike.
