Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development and fun.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by monitoring their activities and maintaining a secure environment.
• Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Support children’s learning through educational play, reading, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys, changing bedding, folding laundry, and tidying up play areas.
• Provide compassionate care for children with special needs or disabilities when required, following individualized plans.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures to respond promptly to minor injuries or emergencies.
• Ability to cook healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children’s dietary requirements.
• Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong understanding of childcare best practices, including preschool activities and early childhood education techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and guardians.
