Position: Professional Babysitter (W-2 Employee)

Blue Ridge Babysitting Co. is seeking dependable, experienced caregivers to join our growing team serving Lancaster and surrounding areas.

At Blue Ridge, we elevate the standard of babysitting. Our caregivers are W-2 employed team members who provide safe, engaging, and professional childcare for families who need flexible support — including date nights, school closures, backup care, weddings, and busy seasons.

You will care for children ranging from infants to school-age, creating a structured, nurturing environment where children feel secure and supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, safety-first care at all times
• Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, dressing, and nap schedules
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support creativity, learning, and physical development
• Supervise children during in-home care and approved outings
• Adapt to different family environments with professionalism and independence
• Communicate clearly with parents regarding children’s needs and updates
• Maintain a clean, organized play environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience with infants and toddlers required
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• 4–6 strong professional references unless you have long-term nanny or teaching experience
• Ability to work independently without constant direction
• Calm, proactive, and reliable personality
