Back End Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team in our New Cairo office. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems and writing clean, maintainable code. You will be working closely with other developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to design and implement innovative backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS frameworks.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs and handle WebSocket connections for real-time features.

Work with mapping APIs and geolocation services.

Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability.

Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration between services.

Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Use project management tools such as Jira to track tasks, sprints, and progress.

Work with Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) to manage and collaborate on codebases effectively.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS.

Hands-on experience with WebSocket, REST APIs, and mapping APIs.

Solid understanding of both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.

Experience working with microservices architecture.

Excellent understanding of clean code principles and design patterns.

Familiarity with Version Control Systems such as Git/GitHub.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and task management tools like Jira.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
