Backend Engineer - New York (hybrid)

Our customer has recently raised their seed funding round to scale their founding engineering team. They're an AI startup developing autonomous software to automate, populate, and source information for sales teams at Fortune 500 companies.

Your role will be to focus on Backend Product Engineering to build infrastructure that runs their AI system. You'll own their entire backend feature and design backend architecture from scratch enhancing user-interface products.

• 3+ years backend experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Strong AWS severless experience (SQS, SNS, SES, RDS, S3).
• Strong experience designing, optimizing, and tuning data.
• Strong experience in containerization and deployment.
• Strong experience building APIs and services.
• Ideally someone who has a strong product mindset.
• Previous AI/LLM experience would be a huge bonus.
• This role is suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment.
