Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes
- Support menu planning by organizing ingredients and prepping components for daily service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Contribute to meal preparation for catering events or large orders, ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Maintain kitchen organization, including stocking supplies and cleaning workstations regularly
- Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to uphold a safe environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Kitchen or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and culinary procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is a plus but not required
- Excellent teamwork skills, positive attitude, and a commitment to quality service
