Back of House Team Member

Crux Coffee Roasters is a locally owned and operated third wave specialty coffee and espresso bar located in Downtown Abacoa, Jupiter. We are not a franchise or corporate chain, we are LOCAL!

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Back of House team member to join our growing team. As a member of the Crux Team, you will be prepping ingredients, and preparing our delicious Acai Bowls, Breakfast Sandwiches, Avocado Toast, and other signature food items.

This position will be responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers in a fast-paced environment. We expect our Team Members to always:

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must be available to work 3+ days a week including Fridays & Saturdays
• Ability to stand up/be on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to multitask, work at a fast, yet efficient and thorough pace
• Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Maintain adequate par level ingredients for menu builds
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain Kitchen cleanliness so work area is organized, neat, and clean at all times
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
• Clean & Sanitize food storage containers, kitchen equipment, and dishes as needed

The ability to move quickly and proactively anticipate the needs of the team are vital. Staying ahead of the rush by stocking, prepping, and keeping a clean work area is A MUST.
