BACK OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Integrative pain practice seeking qualified medial assistant to work with busy Pain Management physician. Pain experience is plus, but will train the right candidate. Medical back office experience/ MA Cert Required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Authorizations.

Triaging 25-35 patients per day.

Set up and take down of in office sterile procedures.

Ability to transcribe a detailed patient history.

Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Ability to collect vitals accurately.

Ability to act as a team player.

Good attendance and positive attitude.

Ability to interact with patients/physicians while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Working closely with a team to assist in completing assigned tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Spanish Speaking candidates preferred, but not required.

Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
