Back Up Caregiver/ Babysitter

Do you love working with kids? Do you want to pick up extra babysitting gigs that fit into your schedule? HeyCurated is a third-party back-up care provider and we are looking for experienced nannies and babysitters who want to pick up extra work as a back-up caregiver in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.

Caregiver responsibilities include:

• Provide customized and personalized childcare for children in their home, including meal prep & feed kiddos (including bottle-feeding infants), changing diapers, proactively engaging children with activities and play, and keeping children’s area neat and tidy.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and follow their instructions on care delivered through the session.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children, usually ages 3 months to 11 years old

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have professional experience working with children ages 3 months and up. Must have infant experience.
• Availability to work in shifts, full days (Monday thru Friday), occasional half days.
• Availability to work 5+ sessions a month. Ability to take last minute requests is a plus.

Note:

• Must be willing to submit to a background check, reference check, and social media screening
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to be (we cover the cost)

Pay Rate:

Pay is $20/hr for 1 child; $22/hr for 2 children/ $24 for 3 children. Typically requests are for 1 or 2 children. You will invoice for this work and get paid bi-weekly.
