Back up Dog Walker, Upper East Side

Busy, well respected dog walking company on the Upper East Side seeks a back-up dog walker.

A back up dog walker covers walks for our 20 regular walkers when they are on vacation, need a day off or are out sick. Whenever possible we arrange the back-up walk schedule in advance. This is an on-call/as needed position.

-This is a perfect fit for someone with flexible hours who is looking for EXTRA INCOME.

-Walks generally occur Mon - Fri days between 10:30am - 4:30pm, must have availability 3-4 of these days. Only applicants with the required availability will be reviewed.

Must be able to commit for at least 6 months.

Additional walks may be available early morning, evenings and weekends. All of our walks occur on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Compensation averages $18.50-23.50/ hour. Exact payment is dependent on the number and category of walk services completed.

To work as a dog walker, you must be reliable and truly love dogs. You should be physically capable of walking several miles per day, climbing stairs, and able to restrain a dog on a leash.

You also must be allowed to work legally in the US and Must be over the age of 18. This is a W-2 position.
