Back Waiter and Food Runner

Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Back Waiter and Food Runner, where your energetic spirit and keen attention to detail will elevate the dining experience for every guest. $13 an hour plus tipout. In this dynamic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by efficiently delivering food, assisting servers, and ensuring seamless service in a lively, upscale environment. Duties

• Deliver prepared dishes promptly from kitchen to dining areas, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained
• Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing support during busy service periods
• Support food runners in organizing and staging dishes for efficient delivery to tables
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
• Handle food accurately using Toast POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent guest relations by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods
• Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is advantageous
