Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
• Handle food handling tasks with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and transportation of dishes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under the guidance of culinary staff.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by engaging politely with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Support banquet or special event service when required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen support roles enhances your candidacy.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables, and lift moderate loads comfortably.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for guest services is key. Pay: $16.94 - $25.00 per hour
