Timings: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Work Schedule: Sundays off | 2nd & 4th Saturdays off

The Role

At NeuraMach AI, data is the heartbeat of our AI models. We are looking for a Database-focused Software Engineer Intern to help architect, optimize, and protect our data layers. You will be responsible for ensuring our FastAPI backend communicates flawlessly with our data stores, with a heavy focus on PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. You won't just be writing queries; you will be building automated validation systems to ensure our data remains consistent and our queries remain lightning-fast.

Key Responsibilities

● Database Development: Design and maintain complex schemas in PostgreSQL.

● NoSQL Integration: Implement and optimize data storage patterns in AWS DynamoDB.

● API Development: Build high-performance FastAPI endpoints that handle heavy data operations.

● Data Automation & QA: Create automated scripts to validate data migrations and ensure zero data loss or corruption.

● Performance Tuning: Write and automate "Stress Tests" for our databases to identify slow queries and indexing issues.

● AI Data Prep: Work with the ML team to ensure training data flowing from the DB is accurate and well-structured. Technical Requirements

● SQL Expert (Primary): Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (Joins, Indexing, Transactions).

● NoSQL Focus (Secondary): Familiarity with DynamoDB or other NoSQL architectures.

● Backend: Strong proficiency in Python and an understanding of ORMs (like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise).

● Testing Mindset: Ability to write automated tests to verify that data is correctly stored, retrieved, and transformed.

● Problem Solving: You enjoy optimizing a query to run in milliseconds rather than seconds.
