Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs that power our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities 1. Server-Side Development

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using modern backend frameworks.

2. Database Management

• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Manage relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

3. API Integration

• Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.

4. Performance & Security

• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Implement security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).

5. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
• Document technical processes, system architecture, and development workflows.

6. Testing & Debugging

• Perform unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Ruby, or PHP.
• Experience with frameworks like Django, Spring Boot, Express.js, NestJS, or Laravel.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building microservices.
• Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.
