Backend Developer

About the Role

We are urgently seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Python. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems, integrating APIs, managing databases, and ensuring smooth communication between the frontend and backend. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and maintain server-side logic using PHP and Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Manage and optimise databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel / CodeIgniter preferred).
• Solid experience with Python frameworks (Django / Flask).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Experience with server management and deployment (Linux preferred).
• Ability to identify and fix performance bottlenecks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Docker, AWS, or cloud environments.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Celery, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Frontend technologies for effective team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
