About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to build reliable and high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and databases
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

• Strong experience with backend programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Go)
• Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
