Backend Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with working exposure to AI Large Language Models (LLMs). You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable server‑side applications, integrating AI/ML features into production systems, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Integrate AI/LLM models into applications for intelligent features such as chatbots, content generation, and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy and scale AI models.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage databases, caching, and distributed systems for high‑availability applications.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging backend and AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java for backend services.
• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Exposure to AI/LLM frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in collaborative teams.
