BNC has been mandated to recruit a Backend ( Node. js) Developer for one of our US client based in Gurugram.

Job Title: Backend (Node.js) Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for skilled Backend (Node.js) Developers to join our development team. The ideal candidates should have strong experience in building scalable backend services, writing clean and efficient code, and working with modern JavaScript frameworks and databases.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development

● Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side applications using Node.js.

● Build RESTful APIs and microservices with high performance and scalability.

● Implement reusable, testable, and efficient code.

2. Database Management

● Design and manage relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).

● Optimize queries and ensure efficient data handling.

3. API Integration

● Integrate third-party APIs, internal services, and external systems.

● Ensure secure communication between frontend and backend applications.

4. Architecture & Optimization

● Participate in designing system architecture and technical solutions.

● Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

● Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain code quality.

● Debug and resolve backend issues effectively.

6. Collaboration & Documentation

● Work closely with frontend developers, project managers, and QA teams.

● Document code, API endpoints, and technical processes.

7. Security & Compliance

● Implement authentication, authorization, and other security best practices.

● Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js/Nest.js.

● Solid understanding of asynchronous programming.

● Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

● Familiarity with Git, Docker, and API design principles.

● Understanding of microservices and scalable architecture.

● Knowledge of authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

● Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
