Immediate Hiring- Backend Developer – NestJS (Mid to Senior Level)

About the Role:

Botmer International is looking for a Mid to Senior Backend Developer with strong NestJS expertise and a high level of autonomy. This role is ideal for someone who can independently own backend features, design scalable architectures, and contribute to robust, production-grade systems.

The candidate will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams while maintaining full ownership of backend development and decision-making.

Experience & Seniority

• 6+ years of professional backend development experience
• 4 years of hands-on experience with NestJS in production environments
• Proven experience working independently on complex backend systems
• Experience contributing to scalable, high-traffic applications is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
• Own backend features end-to-end, from design to deployment
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integrations
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
• Ensure backend systems are reliable, secure, and production-ready

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
• Solid experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Strong understanding of database design:
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or NoSQL databases

Hands-on experience with:

• Authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC)
• Testing strategies (unit tests, integration tests)
• Experience with Docker and basic AWS cloud setups
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
