Backend Developer

Summary:

Tapmad is looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing high-performance web platforms, and collaborating closely with the developers and other teams to ensure smooth, end-to-end functionality across our products.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js (Express.js, NestJS) and Laravel.

•Build and maintain robust, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

•Develop and manage microservices and work with API gateways for service orchestration.

•Integrate with third-party services including payment gateways, analytics tools, and external APIs.

•Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.

•Implement caching strategies using tools like Redis to optimize performance.

•Ensure best practices in API security, authentication, and authorization.

•Utilize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and other modern development practices.

•Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers in an Agile environment.

•Manage version control using Git and project workflows through JIRA.

•Deploy applications in Docker containers and manage infrastructure using AWS.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

•2+ years of professional experience with Node.js and Laravel.

•Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API gateway usage.

•Experience developing RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability and security.

•Proficiency with MySQL and MongoDB.

•Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and AWS.

•Solid knowledge of API authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).

•Experience with version control systems like Git and project tracking tools like JIRA.

•Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
