Backend Developer Intern

Job Description

Cyber World Insights is a digital research and awareness platform focused on technology, innovation, and cybersecurity. We are looking for passionate interns to join our backend development team.

Pay: From 1,000 PKR per month (stipend – learning-focused internship)
Job type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining server-side applications.
• Work with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) for data storage and retrieval.
• Support API integration and development.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to connect user-facing elements with server logic.
• Debug, test, and optimize backend performance.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in backend development (academic, freelance, or project-based acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
