Position: Backend Developer(Java + Python AI)

Location: I-10, Islamabad

Experience: 1–3 Years

About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems and integrating AI/ML-powered functionalities. In this role, you’ll work primarily with Java (Spring Boot) while also contributing to Python-based AI integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot.
• Any of Database's hands-on experience (e.g.: MySQL / Postgres / Mongo / Cassandra)
• Restful APIs server and client
• Above all: commitment to code meeting industrial guidelines and excel as a self-driven team player
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns, Solid principles, OS, Computer Networks, and Database concepts
• Knowledge of Microservices / SOA / MVC and other computer software architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux OS will be preferable with any distro.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Integrate and support Python-based AI/ML modules
• Collaborate with frontend, AI, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of Python for AI/ML or data-driven functionalities.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software architecture (Microservices, MVC, SOA).
• Familiar with Linux environments and Git.
• Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Docker/Kubernetes, or Kafka/Redis.
• Exposure to ML, DL, LLMs, or NLP.
• Understanding of web/mobile development (HTML, CSS, Flutter, etc.).
• Active GitHub/Stack Overflow presence is a plus.
• HTML 5 / React-JS / JavaScript / CSS / Web development / Mobile development using Flutter / Kotlin / Java / Swift / React-native
• SOAP APIs, Apache Kafka, Redis DB, Python / Node-JS, ML, DL, LLMs, NLP Docker containers (and / or) Kubernetes, any of these will be a plus
• Basic experience or familiarity with React-JS.
