Backend Developer (Node.js / AWS)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our engineering team. The role involves building and scaling backend systems for web and mobile applications using modern cloud and database technologies.

You will be responsible for designing APIs, managing databases, integrating cloud services, and ensuring system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (Express or similar frameworks)
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, and performance optimization
• Integrate and manage Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions if required)
• Deploy and maintain backend services on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and UI/UX teams
• Debug issues and improve system reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (or TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Experience working with AWS services
• Familiarity with Firebase ecosystem
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Socket.io)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Basic DevOps knowledge (Docker, Nginx, etc.)

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
